Answering some of your questions in advance.
Do you deliver?
We do make exceptions, when availability allows, for delivery of wedding cakes, or large cakes for large events. This will cost an additional fee.
We are currently trying to coordinate with local delivery providers to set up a consistent and secure solution for our deliveries of our products.
How far in advance do I need to place an order?
Any custom orders: Cakes with specific flavour or design elements, large batch amounts, or specific flavours of any product must be ordered with a minimum of one full week’s notice from the date and time of pickup. Our production schedule is often quite busy and does not allow for deviation. We plan this schedule at the end and beginning of each week.
Some of our more basic, regularly produced products, especially in smaller amounts can often be ordered with a single day’s notice, pending availability.
What flavour cakes do you bake?
Vanilla, Chocolate, Marble, Funfetti, Lemon, Carrot (contains raisins).
We also do make other flavours periodically, or upon request. These must be requested as a custom order with a minimum of one week’s notice.
Should I keep my cake in the fridge?
Your cake is best kept at cool room temperature. As all our products are made with butter, not shortening or lard, the best flavour and moisture is attained at room temperature.
If you need to refrigerate you cake please take it out to room temperature at least 3 hours before cutting.
Do we make dairy-free, gluten-free, egg-free, or nut-free products?
We do not. We can make some of our recipes without some of these products, and we are very careful about cross contamination, but we do have and work with all of these elements in our facility so cannot give a 100% guarantee to omit any of these.
Also, our recipes yield reasonably large batches, and therefore we cannot justify making a single cake or item that omits eggs, or dairy.
